A combination of Mac OS X Leopard, refreshed Macs, and iPods have formed a perfect storm that hint Apple will exceed its already optimistic targets, according to investment bank Bear Stearns.


Confirmation of six new locations and official company statements suggest that expansion for Apple Inc.'s retail stores in the coming year will focus on international hot spots, including Brazil and Mexico.

AT&T's control of Cellular One is bringing the iPhone to new corners of the US, including Alaska. And Dell's venture into retail is unlikely to dent Apple's influence in retail, according to an investor note from American Technology Research.
